Stop mouse waking computer from sleep

My mouse wakes my Windows 10 computer from sleep with the slightest touch, and I can’t seem to turn this feature off.

I already disabled the ‘Allow device to wake computer’ option in the Mouse settings in Device Manager, but it has not fixed the issue.

The mouse I am using is a Logitech M220.

Fenced code blocks remain unchanged

Try disabling the ‘Allow this device to wake the computer’ option in the Power Management tab of the mouse properties. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Locate and right-click on your mouse under ‘Mice and other pointing devices’.
  3. Select Properties.
  4. Click on the Power Management tab.
  5. Uncheck the ‘Allow this device to wake the computer’ option.
  6. Click OK to save the changes.

This should prevent the mouse from waking your computer from sleep mode.
